Understanding the Opioid Crisis Through the Work of Horizons
Join us Monday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m. in Vance Barron Hall. After such strong interest in the class about the opioid crisis, we welcome staff and a client of the Horizons program to share more about what they do to help women in recovery and ways UPC can partner with them effectively.
Horizons is a substance use disorder treatment program for pregnant and/or parenting women and their children, including those whose lives have been touched by victimization and violence. Horizons provides comprehensive recovery and relapse prevention services using a trauma-informed model of care that focuses on both mother and child. All are invited to join the conversation.
