Appalachia Service Project endeavors to make homes warmer, safer, and drier in rural Appalachia. No construction experience is needed – just a heart for serving others and a desire to learn. We are divided into work crews of 7 people and travel in vans to our ASP center. We’ll make our home for the week on air mattresses in gyms, schools, or community centers. Each day, each work crew will head out for their home where they will serve for the week. You’ll do home repair but more importantly, you’ll get to know the homeowners and their stories and make a real connection as you share God’s love. Youth must have completed 8th grade. Adults of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend to make this trip work for our young people.
