On All Saints’ Day, we remember and give thanks for the communion of saints. In the Christian tradition, we give thanks for the great cloud of witnesses that surrounds us and we trust that though bodies fail, love never ends. We will be observing All Saints’ Day in both worship services on Sunday, Oct. 29 by reading the names of all UPC members who died this past year. There will also be a separate compline (evening prayer) service on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary.
If someone special in your life has died this past year and you would like us to include their name in our services, please email Hadley (hadley@upcch.org) by Monday, Oct. 23. All are welcome to attend the services and/or add a name.
