
Racial Equity “Beloved Community” Trip
Oct. 8-12, 2025
Come travel with us this fall on our “Beloved Community” Journey to Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, Tuskegee, and Atlanta. Dates for the trip are October 8-12, 2025. UPC, in conjunction with Binkley Church, Carolina Friends School, and the Orange County Community Remembrance Coalition, has partnered to offer this to our collective members and associates. For 5 days and 4 nights, we will visit key sites in civil rights history and explore contemporary racial justice issues with similarly curious and thoughtful travelers.

- 16th Street Baptist Church
- Brown Chapel A.M.E Church
- Edmund Pettus Bridge
- Civil Rights Memorial Center
- Legacy Museum
- Freedom Monument Sculpture Park
- National Memorial for Peace & Justice
- Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site
- WERD Radio
- Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Shoppe
- Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site
- Ebenezer Baptist Church
