Adult Classes meet at 9:45 am on Sundays during the program year.
We believe that we are never done learning, especially when it comes to our faith! We offer classes on Sunday mornings (Sept.-May) for adult faith development, taking 3-5 weeks at a time to learn about a particular topic or engage in a Bible study. The classes offered are intentional, thought-provoking, and always open to all.

Reading the Word (Vance Barron Hall)
Lent in Plain Sight (March 23-April 13)
A Lenten Bible Study based on Lent in Plain Sight: A Devotion through Ten Objects by Rev. Jill Duffield. No pre-reading is required.
God is often at work through the ordinary: ordinary people, ordinary objects, ordinary grace. Through the ordinary, God communicates epiphanies, salvation, revelation and reconciliation. It is through the mundane that we hear God’s quiet voice. This study will draw our attention to ordinary objects Jesus would have encountered on his way to Jerusalem: dust, bread, the cross, coins, shoes, oil, coats, towels, thorns and stones. In each object, we explore meaning in the biblical account of Jesus’ final days. Cindy Murashima and Kathy Culley will co-teach this four week class.
Combined Class for Eastertide (April 27 & May 4)
Come join us as we step into two post-resurrection encounters—Thomas longing for proof and the disciples sharing breakfast with Jesus on the shore. In this Bible study and discussion, we’ll wrestle with doubt, recognize grace, and wonder together about how Christ still shows up in our lives. Bring your questions and open heart; we’ll meet in Vance Barron Hall. Rev. Meg Peery McLaughlin will lead as we read John 20 on April 27, and Elder Robert Owen will lead as we read John 21 on May 4.
Sunday School will not meet during summer schedule (beginning May 11).
