Are you new to UPC, new to the Presbyterian denomination, or just curious to know more about what it means to be part of the PC(USA)? In 2022, we’re offering periodic stand-alone classes about what it means to be Presbyterian!
Our second session will focus on Reformed Worship and Sacraments. Ever wonder why we do what we do in worship and in what order? Curious about the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion—and why Presbyterians only have two sacraments? Meg Peery McLaughlin will answer these questions and more in this class. Presbyterians claim that worship is the central act of the people of God. We’ll walk through a “typical UPC Sunday morning” and see what it has to teach us about God. This is a great class for newcomers and old-timers alike.
