Why Pledge?
Stewardship is an invitation to prayerfully give of your time, talent, and treasure in response to God’s grace. Pledging a gift for 2025 both provides you an opportunity to intentionally consider how you may give and helps us plan for our budget in the coming year.

Dear Saints of UPC,
Praying at a hospital bedside this week, a church member asked me for Bob Johnson’s number. Bob is his deacon, so the ask made sense, but I was struck by how he described him. “Bob is always there,” he said. If you know Bob Johnson, you know what this man meant. Most Sundays Bob is the one with a smiling face offering everyone a bulletin and a warm welcome into our church home. He’s always there.
UPC is a church that seeks to be there:
for our neighbors in need through our local and global outreach;
for young people as they explore deep questions and make big decisions;
for every one of us who seeks to remember that the truest truth of who we are is that we belong to God—in life and in death.
For generations, UPC has been there—a steady presence—in this community proclaiming and living out God’s love in Christ. This is why our Fall sermon series is called Grounded. For even when the world around us is topsy-turvy and much of our culture is bent on division, UPC equips us to stay rooted in the gospel.
When we are grounded in the grace of God, we are called to respond with our gratitude—gratitude that takes the form of stewardship.
Our 2025 pledge goal is $2.15 million, a 6% increase from 2024. This increase accounts for inflation and modest building/programmatic increases, while also maintaining our commitment to staff and outreach.
Pledges are critical to our ministry, and all pledges are appreciated and enable us to be there for our church and our community.
