What is Taizé?
Lasting about 30 mins, a Taizé service includes chant-like simple songs sung repeatedly, surrounded by brief periods of silence, Scripture, and prayer. We invite you to come as you are and invite anyone else who may desire a simple evening of singing, praying, and sacred reflection.

Chantres de Taizé
The “Cantors of Taizé” offer musical leadership for the monthly contemplative worship services typically held on Tuesday evenings. The ensemble welcomes both singers and instrumentalists. The Taizé service at University Church consists of scripture readings, silence and simple chants that allow space for creativity and spontaneous improvisation.
